  • Prepareand maintain all records for network professional development and events
  • Coordinateand provide formal communication with district and campus networks on at leasta weekly basis to provide updates and information
  • Designand manage communications and tools to facilitate information and updates tonetwork principals and upper level management to include but not limited toDeputy Chiefs and Chiefs
  • Overseeand facilitate the District Network meetings, professional developments andactivities associated with the network or Executive Director feeder patterns
  • Collaboratewith network Executive Directors to develop presentations for district andnetwork use in professional development sessions, meetings, and for districtreporting purposes
  • Develop,lead and implement strategic activities to build cohesiveness among principalswithin the networks. Flexibility to independently work with others in a widevariety of circumstances; analyze data utilizing defined but differentprocesses; and compile accurate and detailed reports
  • Abilityto work with a wide diversity of individuals and work with data of varied typesand/or purposes
  • Organizeand communicate information and concepts for various presentations for avariety of audiences
  • Workwith detailed information/data; and maintain confidentiality
  • Problemsolving skills are required to identify issues and assist with the creation ofaction plans
  • Abilityto complete multiple tasks successfully to meet established timelines anddeadlines
  • Analyzeand compile data to assist the team with decision making and strategydevelopment
  • Completead hoc assignments as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient andeffective functioning of the work unit.
  • Utilizeadult learning understandings to create cohesive, effective, and efficientnetwork interactions and professional development sessions.
  • Analyzeimportant areas of work, to include but not limited to: assessments,grade failures, attendance, vacancies, etc.in order to provide up-to-datereports for Executive Directors and upper management as well as collaboratingwith Executive Directors and Deputy Chiefs to develop actions plans to addressareas of concern
  • Utilizeautonomous decision-making skills to identify needed areas of support andmonitoring within the network to assist Executive Directors with follow up andaction plans
  • Provideknowledge and support to the Executive Directors in relation to their workwithin the network on a wide range of topics.
  • Analyzeappropriate date from a variety of sources and make decisions regarding theanalysis to provide complete and thorough reports and recommendations toExecutive Directors and upper management.
  • Manageand coordinate network principal professional development in collaboration withExecutive Directors.
  • Performsall other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Allfederally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effortreporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodiccertification, as appropriate

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited university (USA equivalent) in a directly relatedfield, Master's Degree required
  • ValidTexas teacher certificate
  • Threeyears of directly related teaching experience
  • Demonstratesstrong written and oral language skills
  • Demonstratesability to work and communicate with diverse audience
  • Demonstratesexcellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel andOracle
  • Demonstratesability to work with multi-ethnic populations in an urbanmulticultural setting
  • Demonstratedexcellent communication in written and oral form andinterpersonal skills
  • Demonstratedability to work collaboratively with a diverse community, district staff members,parents and the public
  • Demonstratedability to present to audiences of varying sizes
