  • Support Account Managers and Sales Team in issuing quotes
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Responsible for managing timescales of delivery times, possible delays and reporting such to management
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company 
  • Control cost and build a culture of long-term saving; have a good understanding of the process of buying/selling and margin
  • Proven time management and project management skills
  • Able to work to deadlines in consultation with Manager
  • Undertake training as required or as identified by management for the proper execution or development within your role/company
  • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the company and within the competency of the post-holder.

  • Good Commercial sense
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear record systems, including the ability to recommend changes to working practices
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure
  • Experience of Cisco CW preferable
  • Responsible and reliable, capable of working alone as well as part of a team
  • Good organisation and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Good technical knowledge as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have critical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Ability to learn and share new skills and to apply them efficiently
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change, to meet the needs of the customer
  • Be a motivated team player
  • Demonstrable experience working in an internal sales role
  • Experience of participating in tender processes and framework agreements
