Engineering Specialist, Controls - KTP

Responsibilities Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow-up automation project's and installations Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems Update program backups for automation Program new installations of Body tooling and conveyor systems Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
Basic Qualifications: 1+ year Electrical Background (Engineering, electrician or technician) High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Kawasaki programming, RS Logics, Microsoft office experience Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics Experienced in laser burning, PLC and Fanuc robot experience 8D and 5Why corrective action and problem solving skills Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping experience DMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience TQM and Kaizen Methods experience FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience Strong problem solving background must include 8D's, FMEAs, and DMAIC's Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (RSLogix).
